University of Saskatchewan Graduate Residence

Work completed for Stantec Toronto
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Date: 2010
Methods & Tools: Google Sketchup Pro 7, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

The University of Saskatchewan Graduate Residence is part of the University’s College Quarter Plan, which is envisioned as a mix of uses including academic, student housing and commercial, blurring the traditional boundaries of city and campus. The Graduate Student Residence is located within the academic and mixed-use area of the master plan. By examining the requirements of graduate students, the new residence addresses the needs of today’s diverse student body and creates space that all students will be proud to call ‘home.’

I was integrated into the design team and assisted in the design development stage of the project. Responsibilities included work on 3D visualization and presentation materials.

The building opened its doors for occupancy in 2013.
